A Full-Day Baja Adventure: La Paz, Balandra Beach & Todos Santos
A Full-Day Baja Adventure: La Paz, Balandra Beach & Todos Santos is a cultural tour in Cabo rated 5.0/5 by 2 Viator travelers; from about $130 per person; lasts 10 hours.
About
This is a ten-hour loop out of Cabo that hits three very different stops on the Baja peninsula. You start in La Paz, the state capital an hour and a half north—actual city infrastructure, malecón boardwalk, local pace. Then Balandra Beach, a shallow-water lagoon just outside La Paz that photographs well and stays calm most of the year. Last is Todos Santos on the Pacific side, the art-town-slash-surf-village about an hour back toward Cabo. The tour runs $130 per person and carries a perfect 5.0 rating, though that's based on two reviews, so it's early days. Ten hours is a long sit in a van, and you're covering a lot of ground without much depth at any one stop. If you want to actually spend time in Todos Santos or swim at Balandra without a clock running, you're better off driving yourself or breaking it into separate trips. This works if you want the overview and don't mind the pace.
