This twelve-hour loop out of Los Cabos hits three spots north along the Pacific: La Paz for Balandra Beach, then Todos Santos and the Hotel California. Balandra is the reason most people book — it's a shallow tidal bay with water that photographs turquoise, protected as a state park, and busy enough that morning arrival matters. After that you move inland to Todos Santos, the arts-town grid an hour south of Pescadero, where the Hotel California sits on a corner and leans into the Eagles legend even though the band has said it's not the one from the song. You get time to walk the galleries and stop for lunch. At $124 and twelve hours, it's a long day. The drive each way is roughly two hours, so you're spending half the trip in a van.
