Balandra and Tecolote Beaches Day Trip with Lunch
Balandra and Tecolote Beaches Day Trip with Lunch is a water activity in Cabo rated 5.0/5 by 2 Viator travelers; from about $204 per person; lasts 8 hours.
About
This eight-hour trip runs north from Cabo to two beaches outside La Paz—Balandra and Tecolote—that sit on the Sea of Cortez side of the peninsula. Balandra is the postcard one: shallow turquoise water, a natural rock formation called the mushroom, and calm conditions that make it easy to wade out. Tecolote is longer and less protected, with better snorkeling when the water cooperates. Lunch is included, typically at a beachside spot near Tecolote. The drive is about ninety minutes each way, so most of the day is transit and beach time rather than structured activity. Two reviews on the Viator listing give it a perfect rating, but that's a thin sample. If you want Sea of Cortez beaches without dealing with La Paz logistics yourself, this works. Just know you're paying for the round-trip coordination and the meal as much as the beach access itself.
