Day Trip to Balandra Beach & Todos Santos from Los Cabos

This 11-hour loop takes you north to La Paz for Balandra Beach, then back down the Pacific coast through Todos Santos. Balandra is the protected, shallow-water bay you see in the Baja postcards — turquoise shallows, minimal swell, good for wading. The morning stop gives you a few hours there before the midday heat builds. On the return, you detour through Todos Santos, the art-town hour north of Cabo on Highway 19. It's grown into galleries and organic cafes, but the old mission and dusty center are still intact. The drive each way is about two hours, so most of the day is transit and stops rather than beach time. At $90 (down from $150), it's priced as a sampler if you want both coasts in one shot and don't have a car. Intensity is moderate — mostly sitting and short walks. If your priority is beach hours, you're better off picking one coast and staying put.
