Ideal adventure for Balandra cruises and sea lions
Ideal adventure for Balandra cruises and sea lions is a water activity in Cabo rated 5.0/5 by 1 Viator travelers; from about $125 per person; lasts 5 hours.
About
This is a five-hour boat trip out of La Paz that hits Balandra Beach and a sea lion colony. Balandra is the postcard shot — shallow turquoise water and a mushroom-shaped rock that shows up in every feed. The cruise stops there for swimming and beach time, then moves to Espíritu Santo Island where California sea lions hang out on the rocks. You can snorkel near them if conditions allow. The whole thing runs $125 per person and leaves from La Paz, not Cabo, so plan for the drive or arrange transport. It's five hours start to finish, which includes boat time between spots. One review on file gave it five stars, but that's a thin sample. If you're staying in Cabo proper, this is a day trip commitment — La Paz is about two hours north. Worth it if you want the Balandra photo and don't mind the logistics.
