Isis Healing House Alternative Therapies & seven Zenses Cabo Spa is a wellness experience rated 4.8/5 by 136 TripAdvisor reviewers; from about $80 per person; lasts 1.5 hours.

About

Isis Healing House sits in San José del Cabo and runs as a hybrid alternative therapy center and day spa. The 4.8 rating across 136 reviews puts it well above the baseline for local wellness spots, and the name tips you off — this is bodywork plus energy work, not just massage menu standardization. The "seven Zenses" spa side handles the conventional treatments, while the healing house part leans into Reiki, sound healing, and similar modalities that either work for you or don't. People who write reviews tend to be repeat clients, which says something about consistency. Pricing typically runs below the resort spa tier, and the inland San José location keeps it accessible without the beachfront markup. Worth knowing: if you're skeptical of alternative therapies, stick to the massage offerings. If you're already inclined, the practitioner backgrounds show up in the work.

Visiting in November?

November in Cabo offers pleasant conditions without peak-season intensity. You'll find attentive service across properties, from boutique hotels to luxury resorts, and generally comfortable weather for beach and pool time. Thanksgiving week sees a noticeable uptick in visitors, with some restaurants running short on supplies and resorts busier than usual, but the month overall feels more relaxed than true high season.

Real Baja Tours

Real Baja Tours runs ATV and UTV excursions out of Migriño, between Cabo San Lucas and Todos Santos on the Pacific side. The signature route loops through desert backcountry and down to the beach — five hours, high intensity, which means you're actually driving and eating dust, not sitting in a van. The 4.9 rating across nearly nine thousand reviews is about as clean as it gets for adventure tours in Cabo, where logistics and equipment usually pull the average down. They operate their own fleet and own the land for most of the route, so there's no wrangling with other groups or waiting for permission to access trails. Expect sand, arroyos, and one long stretch of empty beach where the Pacific crashes loud enough that nobody talks. Minimum age is zero, but realistically you need to handle a machine or ride as a passenger — intensity level four means you're working. Book direct through their site. Closed-toe shoes and something you don't mind destroying.

Arch of Cabo San Lucas

The Arch sits at the southern tip of the Baja peninsula, where the Pacific meets the Sea of Cortez. You reach it by water taxi from the marina or Médano Beach — most people do a quick loop, snap photos, and head back. The 4.8 rating across nearly 9,000 reviews reflects what it is: a reliable postcard moment, no tricks. The rock formation marks Land's End, and depending on the tide, you'll see sea lion colonies on the rocks and sometimes pelicans stacked on the outcroppings. Water taxis run constantly during daylight hours, and some will drop you at Lover's Beach on the Cortez side if you want to wade. The Pacific side (Divorce Beach) has a serious undertow — people look, they don't swim. It's the thing everyone does once. Go early or late to dodge the midday boat clusters. The ride out takes ten minutes, you get your shot, and you're done. If you skip it, you'll end up seeing it from every other boat trip anyway.

SALTY CABO Excursions

SALTY CABO Excursions runs out of La Playa in San José del Cabo, and the 5-out-of-5 rating across 604 reviews puts it near the top of the waterborne options here. This is a four-hour outing at moderate intensity, so you're active but not white-knuckling it — expect a mix of snorkeling, cruising, and probably some paddleboard time depending on conditions. The price sits around $100 per person, which is standard for a half-day water trip in the area. What separates them is consistency. Six hundred reviews at a perfect rating means they're doing something right with groups, gear, and crew. Most operators in Cabo hit the same spots — the arch, Pelican Rock, Lover's Beach — but execution varies wildly. SALTY keeps it smooth. Book direct through their site to avoid markup and get on the schedule early, especially in high season when morning departures fill fast.

Hydro FlyBoard Los Cabos

Hydro FlyBoard Los Cabos operates out of Puerto los Cabos in San José del Cabo, where the marina puts you on calm water for trying out a flyboard—essentially boots strapped to a jet of water that lift you up to 15 feet if you get the balance right. The 5/5 rating across 352 reviews suggests the instructors walk beginners through it without making anyone feel like an idiot, which matters when you're hovering over the Sea of Cortez on what feels like a fire hose. Most people spend the first ten minutes face-planting, then another ten actually flying, which is apparently enough to make it worth the trip. The marina location means you're not fighting surf or boat traffic, just working on not flipping backward. Expect to get wet, expect to laugh at yourself, and if you've got decent core strength you'll probably pick it up faster than you think.

Misión San José del Cabo

The original mission church stands in the center of San José del Cabo, anchoring the town plaza where the Gallery District spreads out to the north. Built in the 18th century after earlier versions were destroyed, it's a working parish church with a tile mural over the entrance depicting the martyrdom of Padre Tamaral — a violent episode from mission history that's unusual to see rendered so explicitly. The interior is simple, whitewashed, with wooden beams and local santos, and mass still runs most evenings. It's rated 4.3 across 860-plus reviews, which is solid for a historic site that isn't trying to entertain. Most people stop by during a Thursday evening art walk or while wandering the plaza. You can walk in free when services aren't happening. The surrounding square has benches under fig trees and usually a few vendors — it's the calm center of town before the galleries and restaurants take over a block north.
