Lighthouse of the False Cape (El Faro de Cabo Falso)
Lighthouse of the False Cape (El Faro de Cabo Falso) is a cultural tour rated 5.0/5 by 6 TripAdvisor reviewers; lasts 2 hours.
About
The Lighthouse of the False Cape stands at the southern tip of the Baja peninsula, technically the second-southernmost point after Land's End. You can hike out to it from the Pacific beaches near Cabo San Lucas—the trail cuts through scrub and sand, about 45 minutes each way depending on your pace. The lighthouse itself is a working navigation marker, nothing fancy, but the structure and the exposed coastline make the walk worth it. Six reviews give it a perfect score, which tracks—it's one of the few hikes in the immediate Cabo area that isn't a paved resort path. You'll see the Pacific crashing on one side and the Sea of Cortez on the other if the weather cooperates. Bring water and sun protection; there's zero shade once you leave the trailhead. Early morning is cooler and quieter.
