About

Suites Lomboy & Plaza is a small property in San José del Cabo with perfect subratings across rooms, sleep quality, value, service, location, and cleanliness—though that's based on only two reviews, so the sample is thin. The address puts it in a residential zone rather than the tourist spine, which likely means quieter surroundings and a different feel from the beachfront corridor. With such limited feedback, it's hard to assess consistency or what the place actually delivers day-to-day. The perfect scores suggest guests who stayed had no complaints, but two data points don't tell you much about variability in experience or how it handles a full house. If you're considering it, reach out directly to confirm what's included and what the setup actually is—sometimes smaller properties in this category are more like furnished apartments than traditional resorts, and expectations should adjust accordingly.

Royal Solaris Los Cabos

Royal Solaris Los Cabos anchors the southern end of the hotel zone in San José del Cabo, close enough to the marina to walk but far enough out to have elbow room. It's an all-inclusive built for families who want predictable value — serviceable rooms, multiple pools, and nightly entertainment that runs the gamut from mariachi to foam parties. The staff scores consistently high, which matters when you're dealing with kids and meal timing. Rooms and sleep quality sit at 4.0, so manage expectations accordingly; this isn't a design showcase, but cleanliness holds at 4.4 and the price tier reflects what you're getting. The location rating of 4.4 makes sense if you're okay being a short taxi ride from the San José art walk and slightly removed from downtown Cabo San Lucas. It's quieter here. The beach isn't swimmable most of the year, but the pool setup compensates. If you need every meal and drink covered without scanning menus for prices, it does the job without drama.

Hilton Vacation Club Cabo Azul Los Cabos

Hilton Vacation Club Cabo Azul sits on the marina side in San José del Cabo, where the town meets the water. The 4.5 rating across over 3,200 reviews carries more weight when you see the subratings — rooms and cleanliness both hit 4.8, and sleep quality lands at 4.7, which means the beds and soundproofing actually work. The setup is timeshare-rooted but functions like a full-service resort, so expect kitchens in the units and a pool scene that pulls families. Service scores 4.6, and the location does the same, which makes sense for this end of San José — you're walking distance to the marina restaurants and art district, but you're not in the middle of the hotel zone crush. Value rates at 4.4, fair for what you're getting in footprint and finish. It's a solid middle-ground option if you want space, reliable execution, and proximity to the quieter side of Cabo without going boutique or all-inclusive.

Hotel Posada Real

Hotel Posada Real sits on the malecón in San José del Cabo, right where the beach meets the hotel zone. It's one of the older properties on this stretch, and that shows up in the 3.7 room rating—but the location score is a 4.4, which tells you what you're really paying for. You're walking distance to the historic art district and you have direct beach access without the polished resort campus feel of the newer places up the corridor. The value rating is strong at 4.3, and service matches it, so this isn't a neglected property—it's just not trying to be the Ritz. Sleep quality comes in at a solid 4.0, which is better than you'd expect given the age. If you want San José proper instead of the corridor bubble, and you're fine trading marble lobbies for a better nightly rate, it works. Just set expectations on the rooms and you'll be fine.

Cabo Sabores y Colores

Cabo Sabores y Colores is a fine-dining spot tucked into a residential area in San José del Cabo, away from the main tourist grid. With only three reviews logged, it's still flying under the radar, but all three ratings sit at five across the board — food, service, and value each maxing out. That's rare at any price tier, let alone fine dining, where value scores usually take a hit. The kitchen appears to be running a tight operation, but without more public data on the menu or format, it's hard to say what specifically sets the experience apart. What's clear is that whoever's showing up is leaving satisfied enough to hand out perfect marks. If you're the type who prefers a quieter room and doesn't need the scene, it's worth tracking down. Just confirm a reservation ahead — small operations like this don't always keep predictable hours.

Distrito Buen Diente

Distrito Buen Diente is a taco spot in the Las Veredas neighborhood of San José del Cabo, inland from the hotel zone. The 5/5 rating comes from three reviews, so it's early days, but the price level sits squarely in the Cheap Eats tier—this is the kind of place locals hit when they're not trying to impress anyone. The menu isn't listed in the data, so you're going in blind, but the name translates roughly to "Good Tooth District," which suggests they're not overthinking it. Expect counter service, paper napkins, and the kind of portions that make sense when you're paying a fraction of what the marina charges. It's worth noting that three reviews don't tell you much about consistency, but if you're staying in San José and want to eat where the rent is cheaper, this is the direction you head. Cash is a safe bet.

San José del Cabo

Capitan Seafood

Capitan Seafood is on Boulevard Mauricio Castro in San José del Cabo, a street that runs parallel to the beach east of the centro. Two reviews, both perfect 5s across food, value, and service — small sample, but when all three categories land that cleanly, it's at least worth noting. The name says what it is: seafood, no frills. The address puts it in the hotel zone stretch, so it's probably catching repeat visitors who want something straightforward and reliable without the downtown markup. Perfect value scores usually mean portions are fair and prices don't sting. With only two reviews logged, this isn't a volume operation, but that can cut both ways — either it's new, or it's the kind of place locals pass by word of mouth and tourists stumble into once. If you're staying on that side of San José and want fish without a scene, it's an option. Just know you're working off a thin track record.
