Rosa Negra Cabo Restaurant is a $$$$ latin american & seafood upscale restaurant in Cabo San Lucas rated 4.9/5 by 3,146 TripAdvisor reviewers; walk-ins welcome.

About

Rosa Negra sits on the Transpeninsular just north of Cabo San Lucas, and the 4.9 rating across 3,000+ reviews tells you it's executing at a level most fine-dining spots never hit. The food scores nearly as high as the atmosphere, which is unusual — usually one eclipses the other. Here the kitchen and the room are both doing the work, and the 4.6 value score suggests you're not just paying for the lighting. The atmosphere rating is perfect, and that tracks with the Latin American theatrical dining Rosa Negra does across its locations — live music, tableside fire, servers who move. It's loud, it's a show, and if you want a quiet anniversary dinner this isn't it. If you want energy and food that holds up under the performance, it works. Fine dining here means you're spending, but the value subrating says people left feeling like the tab made sense.

All Ways Cabo Transportation

All Ways Cabo Transportation runs airport pickups and private transfers around the Los Cabos corridor. The 5-star rating across more than 4,300 reviews suggests consistent execution on something simple: drivers show up on time, vehicles are clean, and you don't haggle at baggage claim. They're based in El Tezal, just inland from Cabo San Lucas, which keeps them close to the airport run. The volume of feedback points to reliable logistics — useful when you're coordinating flights, resort check-ins, or day trips between San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. Private transport here cuts out the shuttle wait and the shared-van detours. You book in advance, someone meets you with a sign, and you're moving. If your group has gear, golf clubs, or you're just not interested in figuring out taxi rates after a flight, this is the straightforward option.

Cabo San Lucas Desert Spa

Cabo San Lucas Desert Spa is tucked into Villa del Arco Beach Resort, just off the old highway to San José. The name is misleading — you're not in the middle of the desert, but the setting pulls away from the beachfront noise into something calmer. With over 2,600 reviews landing at a perfect 5/5, it's consistently ranked as one of the top spas in Cabo, which suggests they're doing something right with the fundamentals: solid technique, attentive staff, and treatments that actually deliver. The menu covers the usual suspects — massages, facials, body wraps — but execution matters more than variety at this level. Reviewers mention the pre-treatment ritual and the therapists' ability to adjust pressure without being asked. If you're staying elsewhere in Cabo San Lucas, it's worth the short drive. Book ahead, especially during high season, because that rating doesn't go unnoticed.

The Original Salsa and Salsa Cabo

The Original Salsa and Salsa Cabo runs dance classes in Cabo San Lucas, and the 5/5 rating across 569 reviews suggests they've figured out the format. This isn't a drop-in social night — it's structured lessons, typically salsa and bachata, taught in a way that works for beginners who've never counted steps and for dancers who already know the basics and want to tighten their lead or follow. The volume of perfect-score feedback points to consistent instruction and a welcoming setup, which matters when you're learning partnered dance in a tourist town where skill levels and comfort zones vary widely. Classes run regularly, so if you're in Cabo for more than a few days, you can build on what you picked up in the first session. It's one of the few activities in town where the thing you're doing — learning an actual skill — outlasts the vacation.

What travelers are saying.

Cooling

Low confidence

Travelers say Rosa Negra delivers a high-energy dining spectacle that justifies its premium pricing. The consensus across nine recent five-star reviews is that the theatrical atmosphere—live DJ, tableside fire shows, and attentive service—pairs seamlessly with food quality that stands on its own merit. Multiple guests single out specific servers by name (Ana, Marco, Juan Carlos) as exceptional, and diners note the restaurant handles both intimate couples and large celebration groups equally well.

Sunset Monalisa

Sunset Monalisa sits on the Pacific cliffs in the Misiones del Cabo area of Cabo San Lucas, and the 4.9 atmosphere score tells you why people come — the view is the menu's co-star. The food holds its own at 4.5, and the kitchen takes fine dining seriously without the usual resort-town corner-cutting. Service runs tight at 4.7, which matters when you're paying fine-dining prices and the place is pulling over eight thousand reviews. The value rating sits at 4.3, which is honest — you're paying for the location and the execution, not for a deal. But the overall 4.8 across that volume of feedback means they're consistent, and consistency at this level in Cabo isn't common. If you're going to do one splurge dinner with a view, this is the reliable play. Reservations move, especially near sunset. The road up is narrow and the parking is tight, so plan the arrival.

Lorenzillo's Restaurant Cabo San Lucas

Lorenzillo's sits right over the marina in Cabo San Lucas, with tables that look out on the boat traffic and the arch beyond. It's been a fine-dining anchor here for years, built around whole live lobster — you pick from the tank, they weigh it, you pay by the kilo. The 4.6 rating across nearly 4,000 reviews holds up mostly on service and setting; the food score is lower, which tracks with what you'd expect from a tourist-facing seafood house that moves volume. The atmosphere and staff execution are where it justifies the price tier, not the kitchen innovation. If you want a celebratory dinner with a view and you're comfortable with the formula, it delivers that. Just know the value subrating is the lowest of the four, so set expectations accordingly. Reservations help during high season.

El Farallon

El Farallon is tucked into the rocks at the base of the Waldorf Astoria Pedregal in Cabo San Lucas, accessible by a tunnel through the mountain and then a staircase down to the water. The 4.9 atmosphere rating makes sense the second you see it—tables sit on natural stone terraces directly over the Pacific, waves breaking underneath during dinner service. The kitchen runs a seafood-forward fine dining menu, and the 4.8 service score tracks with the Waldorf standard. Food scores a 4.6 across 3,000+ reviews, which is consistently strong for this price tier. Value comes in at 4.2, so expect to pay for the location and the occasion. Reservations are necessary, especially if you want a table at the edge. Sunset timing matters here more than at most restaurants—arrive early enough to catch the light on the rocks, or you're eating in the dark with a spotlight on the surf.

Tourist Corridor

Grand Fiesta Americana Los Cabos All Inclusive Golf & Spa

Grand Fiesta Americana sits on the Tourist Corridor about 10 kilometers from downtown Cabo San Lucas, close enough to reach the marina but buffered from the noise. The 4.7 service rating and 4.7 cleanliness score matter more than the total count — those subratings are harder to fake at scale, and they track through 12,000-plus reviews without slipping. The all-inclusive model here includes golf access and a full spa, which pushes the value calculation if you're planning to use both. Rooms score slightly lower at 4.5, which usually means they're fine but not recently renovated — clean and functional, not Instagram fodder. Sleep quality at 4.6 suggests decent beds and reasonable sound control. Location rating of 4.6 reflects what most Corridor properties get: you're between the two towns, so plan on taxis or rental cars if you want to explore beyond the property.

Cabo San Lucas

The Cape A Thompson Hotel By Hyatt

The Cape sits on the Pacific side of Cabo San Lucas, where the surf is rougher and the scene is quieter than the marina corridor. A 4.8 rating across nearly 4,600 reviews is rare for a hotel at this scale, and the consistency shows — rooms, service, cleanliness, and sleep quality all land at 4.8. That kind of alignment usually means the property delivers what it promises without the usual resort shortcuts. The location trades calm swimming water for dramatic coastline and sunset views. It's a deliberate choice — this isn't the marina postcard, it's the open-ocean version. The value subrating at 4.5 suggests the price point is noticed but not a dealbreaker for most guests. If you want a beach where you can actually wade in, this isn't it. If you want a pool scene with ocean backdrop and a resort that executes well on the details, it makes sense.

Cabo San Lucas

Esperanza, Auberge Collection

Esperanza sits on Punta Ballena between Cabo San Lucas and San José — rocky coast, no swimmable beach, but the views go on forever. The 4.9 across the board isn't typical for Cabo resorts; most stumble on value or location, but this one holds steady even at the higher end of the price spectrum. Service and sleep quality both max out the subratings, which tracks with the Auberge model of fewer rooms and more staff attention. The property leans into the clifftop setting rather than fighting it — tide pools, ocean-facing casitas, and a spa that makes use of the topography. It's quieter than the Corridor mega-resorts and far enough from downtown Cabo that you're committed once you're here. The 3,000-plus reviews still land at 4.9, so whatever they're doing with consistency is working. If you want a swimmable beach, look elsewhere. If you want a well-run clifftop retreat where the details don't slip, this is the one.

Maro's Shrimp House

Maro's Shrimp House is on Calle Miguel Hidalgo in Cabo San Lucas, across from La Dolce. The menu does what the name says — shrimp, prepared about a dozen ways, from garlic and butter to breaded and spicy. The operation is efficient and the portions are generous, which explains the 4.6 on both food and value across more than five thousand reviews. Service runs at 4.7, so the staff keeps pace even when it's full. The atmosphere sits at 4.4, which is fair — this is a working shrimp house, not a scene. You come for the food. The kitchen moves fast, the plates are consistent, and the price point makes it easy to return. If you want shrimp in Cabo without the beachfront markup, this is the answer.
