Sugar Shack
Sugar Shack is a $$ american & cafe casual restaurant in Pacific Side rated 5.0/5 by 6 TripAdvisor reviewers; walk-ins welcome.
About
Sugar Shack is a roadside café across from the Pemex station just north of El Pescadero, midway between Cabo and Todos Santos on the Pacific Side. It's a breakfast and lunch spot built on scratch cooking—think fresh-baked goods, real coffee, and a menu that changes based on what's around. The small review base gives it perfect scores across food, value, service, and atmosphere, which is harder to pull off than it sounds when you're cooking everything in-house at mid-range prices. The draw is the baking. Pastries and bread come out of the kitchen warm, and the breakfast plates lean American-café style with local ingredients where it makes sense. It's not trying to be a scene—just consistent output in a part of the coast where good coffee and a decent pastry aren't guaranteed. If you're driving the loop or staying in Pescadero, it's worth the stop early.
