Cabo in March
Cabo in March: 80°F highs, 60°F lows, zero rain · march is a zoo. Crowds, hotel prices, when to book, and what's worth doing.
March is peak season in Cabo — US spring break floods Medano Beach and the Cabo San Lucas marina with college energy, hotel rates hit their second-highest point of the year, and you'll need reservations for beach clubs and popular restaurants. Highs hover around 80°F with dry, breezy days and cool 60°F nights; the water's still cool at 70°F but swimmable. Whales are still here through mid-March, making this the tail end of the best wildlife window. If spring-break chaos isn't your scene, stay in San José del Cabo or a Corridor resort and visit the marina early or late.

Crowds & prices
March is a zoo. Spring break takeovers mean Medano Beach is wall-to-wall party, the Cabo San Lucas marina bars are packed, and hotel rates sit at $$$ (second only to Christmas/New Year's). You'll pay top dollar and fight for beach chairs unless you book early or stay at an all-inclusive with reserved loungers. The Thursday Art Walk in San José del Cabo and the Corridor's quieter resort pools offer refuge from the spring-break energy. Book 3–6 months out for any hope of reasonable rates.
When to book
Three to six months ahead for flights and hotels — March is high season with spring break compressing inventory hard. Wait until February and you'll pay a premium or find sold-out properties. If you can push your trip to late March after the main spring-break waves, you'll catch slightly better availability.
